Common questions about SVA

Only registered motor vehicle traders are allowed to register with SVA. You require a valid RMVT number as part of your registration and this is verified on the Motor Vehicle Traders Register.

Yes, buyers need to perform their own due diligence. 

Sellers have the ability to list a vehicle and set a reserve price on it, this means the vehicle may get bids but if it does not meet reserve it is not sold. 

Once a bid is placed on a vehicle a notification will appear at the top of your screen stating that you are leading the bid and whether or not reserve has been met. The reserve price wording is in red if the reserve is not met.

Once the auction closes and you have been successful in purchasing a vehicle each party receives an email winner confirmation. In this email you will have the vehicle you purchased, the price it closed at, and the sellers contact details. The seller also receives the same email with the buyers details.You will be sent an invoice including sale and buyers premium to be paid before collection of vehicle. Vehicle is to be collected within 2 business days before storage is applied.

All bids are binding and every listing requires two clicks. One to accept the terms and conditions and another to reconfirm your agreement to the terms and conditions. You should always make sure you know what you’re biding on before placing your bid. We have ZERO TOLERANCE for ghost bidders and will be removed and blacklisted.

we host 3 auctions every week;
Tuesday at 8am and closes on Wednesday at 4pm.

Thursday at 8am and closes on Friday at 4pm.

Saturday at 8am and closes on Monday at 4pm. 

Seller is responsible for overdue RUC. Some vehicles will be sold deregistered.

We have two secure storage facility’s one in Henderson  and one in Takanini.  

Yes we offer this service in house, We will collect the vehicle list and store it in our secure yard and take care of all the paperwork and payment.
